GetSkillary is an independent discovery directory for third-party ecommerce and adjacent retail data resources.
What we include
We prioritize publisher and research-project repositories with meaningful dataset documentation. We also include clearly labeled community integrations. Data benchmarks, annotations, samples and repositories pointing to external releases are described according to what is actually available.
What we check
We read source descriptions, documented contents, formats, access instructions and available license statements. Each entry carries its documentation review date. We do not imply that full data files, every record, external access or model performance were tested.
Three license statuses
- Open license stated: the reviewed publisher documentation explicitly names an open license for the resource. Attribution and other conditions still apply.
- Restricted use: documented conditions include research-only, noncommercial, no-derivatives or other limitations.
- Review required: dataset rights are unclear, incomplete, or separate from the repository’s software license.
Public GitHub access does not establish a right to sell, redistribute or commercially use a dataset. Our notes are summaries; the actual publisher terms govern.
Provenance and freshness
Publisher names identify the source of each resource and do not imply a partnership. Historical data, benchmark labels, synthetic environments and live feeds are different things. A repository update does not by itself indicate a refreshed dataset.
How to access a resource
Follow the source link on a data card for access instructions and the latest release. Some publishers require an account, application or acceptance of terms before you can obtain the data.
Corrections
Send a source-backed correction to [email protected]. Include the entry name and the relevant GitHub documentation. We do not currently promise an automated refresh cadence.
